- I know there's some here in Oklahoma
- Embry Riddle and middle Tennessee State University are always listed in the top schools in the country.
- Florida. Emory Riddle.
- Purdue University in W. Lafayette Indiana has an awesome program! the school is cheap too, about 5000/yr in-state or 7000 out of state. Really nice facilities too, i toured them. look it up at www.purdue.edu
- UND north dakota
- "Flight school" or "aviation university"? Both provide pilot training but only that latter also gives you a degree. Here are lists of Flight schools- http://www.private2atp.com Aviation universities- http://uaa.auburn.edu/institutional.pdf The BEST? It's impossible to pick just one! What is "the best" for one student may not be "the best" for another. You should not make your decision based on reputation or opinion alone. While universities like ERAU have an excellent reputation in many regards, in others (like cost of $100,000) they get a very bad rap. To find the BEST for YOU you need to consider several variables including cost, location, training fleet availability and most importantly with a flight school how you interact with the staff. You should talk with several flight flight instructors before you decide. A CFI that doesn't 'fit' well with you an hamper your training. All will offer a tour to help you decide. I suggest going to the collegent aviation or flight school forums at these message boards for info on the subjects and specific schools: http://forums.flightinfo.com http://forums.jetcareers.com/
- Ohio man!
