how old do you have to be to become a flight attendant?
i think i've heard of 13 year old flight attendants.

- In the US it's usually 21 if the airline serves alcoholic beverages otherwise 18 but rarely that young. I don't think anyone at the age of 13 an work anywhere in the US.
- UM...NOOOO, I seriously doubt there are 13 year old flight attendants...ANYWHERE. In the US, the general rule is 21.

- There is no such thing- anyone who told you that was kidding. ALL international airlines require you to be at minimum, age 18 to apply for a F/A position, however you're preferred to be at least 21.
- actually, it varies with each airline.. but, yes, the mnimum age is 18 for some airlines.. and for others, it 21..
- Well you have to be 18 years old to become an flight attendant. But most airlines require you to be 21.
- Actually, there are 12 US airlines who will hire you at 18, and 22 airlines who will hire you at 19. All the rest require you to be 21.
