How can I become a flight attendant?
I'm 26 yrs old would I be able to become a flight attendant? Do you require a degree? I'm looking for a career change and I'm seriously interested in this so if anyone could help me out with information that would be great... thank you

- No degree needed. Make applications with several airlines. The "feeder" airlines are a good place to start (American Eagle, ComAir, Horizon, et. al). If you get an interview, please dress for business. Jeans are an instant way to fail the process. I have an acquaintance who helps folks with resumes and preparation. He's a career flight attendant with a major carrier. Send me an e-mail and I can provide more information. I don't want to do it on the Yahoo answer site, because it might come across as spam.
- airlines now prefer degrees but none are "required" what background do you have work-wise... I work as an FA for an airline and never worked for another before this--- but I was picked up by a major, transatlantic, first-class carrier! they look for a certain background in their employees...and they do not prefer people with airline experience. They are the highest paying in the field, we fly internationally from day one, and its a great company! :) Its lots of fun!! (I, too, am 26 and made the career change just before my 26th birthday!)
