Flight Attendant Information

Do you have to major in anything specifically to become a flight attendant?

I want to become a flight attendant because I love love traveling a lot. I don't know what I should major or take in college. or is there any other jobs that involve traveling?

1. Absolutely not, my sister was a flight attendant with a criminal justice degree. Let me tell you, she was laid off last year, it's fun but a very unsteady work environment. Hope this helps babe!
2. i'd imagine a degree in customer service would help.
3. Just get a degree in something you enjoy or can use in the event you are ever furloughed.
4. There are degrees offered in the hospitality and tourism field at some universities and colleges. I would think a degree in this field would be very favorable not only in a career as a flight attendant, but in the travel and hotel industry as well. Good luck whatever you do.
5. Aviation Management. You might be able to work your way into management.
