How do i become a flight attendant, when i am based in perth, australi?

i want to become a flight attendant and i dont know how i start going about it. i want to apply with emmirtes. what courses do i need to take to get the qualifications??? my friend told me that i undertake the travel courses in TAFE.

  1. I would assume your friend is right. Unless you wanna play Flight Sim X for a while. (It's fun btw) :D
  2. Apply to the airlines by letter to their Human Resources department. If you have some qualification from school these will help. They are looking for stamina, intelligence and a bright personality. They will train you for the job so get to it and apply.
  3. Be a high school graduate, very, very pretty with a slim figure and a pleasing personality ... there you are. Especially for Emirates. Go to their website (below) and do some research. Look under: "careers".

  5. i had a friend who did hospitality management with me at TAFE this was abt 2 yrs ago, emirates were recruiting, she applied and got it. i guess the hospitality background did help but it isn't required. you also need to be a minimum of 165cm tall i think. or was it 160?
  6. I'd go with jasmimisies...etc. (sorry if I got that wrong :-)) Get on a hospitality/customer service course and watch for when Emirates are next recruiting in Perth. Also make your interest known via their web site.
  7. Tafe would help, but to work for Emirates youd most likely have to move to Dubai, Based in Perth is still a bit hard for other airlines beacuse its not really any airlines major hub, except Skywest,
