Flight Attendant Information

What is the best way to become cabin crew/flight attendant?

Ryan Air are having recruitment days, should i go to one of these or is there a better way to become a flight attendant? Is there a governing body, a particualr qualification? Any help appreciated. Sorry, i should also have specified that this is in the UK.

  1. All airlines prefer to train their employees their own way. What they are looking for is personality, the ability to handle stressful situations, and someone who can remain calm with the nastiest passengers.
  2. There is government training and certifications for cabin crew.. However, for the most part you can't get the certification on your own.. It's not a certificate that you can just get on your own.. Airlines run their own FA training classes. The class and all the material presented are submitted to the government and if acceptable, the class is approved by the government. When and if you successfully complete their initial FA training, you'll be awarded the certification. There is an annual re-current training requirement as well..
