- My sister is in Korea studying to be a flight attendant and she told me it was 5'8" because they have to reach the overhead compartments.
- To work at Qantas you must be between 163 - 183cm tall.
- I think being at least 5'6'' or something-if you are too short, you can't reach the compartments over head.
- 5'9!!!!
- I worked for two airlines and both minimum height requirements were 5'2". The second one had a height maximum, which I've forgotten. It was over 6". For some non-U.S. companies, the height minimum can vary. Regional and private companies also might have lower height requirements. Other Flight Attendant requirements vary widely from country to country so I can't really answer your question. To work for a U.S. company, you have to speak English, have the right to work in the U.S. and a high school diploma or equivalent. I have to be honest and say that someone with *just* those qualifications probably wont get the job. A good, relevant work history, travel, additional education, foreign languages, etc. are unofficially needed. Some foreign airlines want a specific diploma. The age minimums also vary from company to company. Good luck!
