- Suggest you look on the Web for flight attendant schools as most airlines hire from one of the schools (basic training has already been done)
- Go to Airliner websites then to careers. http://www.erau.edu/ http://www.jetblue.com/ http://www.continental.com/web/en-US/Default.aspx http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/en/us/index.jsp http://www.klm.com/travel/klm_splash/splashpage.html http://www.nwa.com/home.html Now look under listings. Some are open in different cities thought the U.S. Call the Airliner and ask them for some school that she could possibly go to. Start from there and once she gets a degree, she can become hired. WARNING: Flight Attendeants make alittle over 22,000/ yr. If your niece likes it , she should go for it. I hope I was helpful. manny.gnzlz@yahoo.com
- Do NOT go to one of those flight attendant schools! They do nothing for you, and it's a waste of money. Every airline, by federal law, must train you to their standards, and having previous training will make it even harder! You will have to unlearn a lot, and I have never heard of an airline that counted a person who went to one of those as any better than someone who didn't. Many airlines won't even hire someone with previous experience. Don't do that. Most airlines are cutting back right now, so there are few jobs. If you get one, be prepared to get furloughed soon after. Allegiant Air is hiring, as well as corporate operators like NetJets. Of course, since so few are hiring it's pretty hard to get on with them, as they can be really picky. I would get a nursing degree, and then try after that as things might have gotten better by then. Good luck.
- all the major airlines have a recruitment section on their website, try to go for an airline that it's closed to you, and your nice needs to get a license if she hopes to be hired:p but a lot of airlines are offering to train... there are minimum requirements though, such as height, education, pyhisical aspect...
