What are the nearest flight schools near Flint, MI?
And recommendations on them would be much appreciated, as well (price ranges, past experiences, etc).

- In Flint city, try a flying club as well as a flight school then compare rates. Here are two: Greater Flint Pilots Association An equity based flying club servicing southeastern Michigan. Details of fleet, bylaws, membership and costs. Includes pilot resources. http://www.gfpa.org/ American Wings Academy An authorized Cessna Pilot Center http://www.americanwingsacademy.com/ You should also try a search for nearby schools by your zip code at this link- http://www.private2atp.com/zipcodes_select_state.php as you may also find other options like Randolf Air Service or Sascon Aviation at Owosso Community Airport or American Aces Aviation at the Livingston County Airport in Howell, Michigan that interest you. For getting your pilot certificate info, check out the beginning portion of this link http://www.pilotcareer.info as well as http://www.flightinfo.com
- Western Michigan University is in Kalamazoo. They offer a bachelors degree and flight training out of the Battle Creek airport.. They are a great school, very nice equipment, and almost a guaranteed job after you graduate as a CFI. Plus the contacts that you make there can take to you places, so you may not have to become a CFI to get a job in the industry. The down fall of all this is that its pricey, and the airport is not located in Kalamazoo where the main campus is located. The majority of the aviation related classes will be at the Battle Creek airport.
- western michigan university has one of the best airline pilot courses around check it out..
