Flight Attendant Information

Are there any accelerated flight schools in Arizona or that area?

I'm looking to do an accelerated commercial, and possibly IFR, rating. Thanks.

  1. There are tons of flights schools in AZ and Florida. These two states are the most popular states (in terms of flight schools). Many of them are accelerated as they mostly handle professional pilot students. Just check in the phone books or just google it. Good Luck...
  2. Well, there is the Al Hajiib Flight school.. but they don't teach how to land the plane... just take off You don't go to flight school like you would go to high school or college. You go to the nearest FBO and arrange for an accelerated schedule. It will take you a week of ground school and, if you try to fly every day, it's still going to take you 3 or 4 months by the time you get your SEL, MEL, and Commercial licenses, and even longer if you are going for ATP but you can get IFR certified at the same time. You are looking at about $35,000 to go through everything.
  3. I think Sheble Aviation is in AZ, I know a guy who got his commerical rating there. As far as IFR, i've heard good and bad about the accelerated program. Some feel they weren't prepared, some just happy to get it done. You still need to have passed the IFR written and have a good number of cross country hours before you can even start the accelerated IFR program.
  4. Yes, there are several flight schools in AZ. For accelerated programs I would look at ATP www.atpflightschool.com or RAA www.raaflightschools.com, I'm not a fan of these accelerated programs but they do move people through quickly. If you would like more information about flight training in AZ, email me.
